My name is Monique Elizabeth (@_vividdreams). Art has been a passion of mine for forever. My focus was on drawing primarily but as soon as I started getting tattooed I absolutely fell in love. I did go to college for business and only after getting my degree did I realize I absolutely hated the corporate world. I quit, bartended for a while, traveled a ton, and when I finally came home I decided to just go for it and try to get into tattooing.

I started my apprenticeship in 2017 at a walk-in shop in New Hampshire and then moved to a private studio about a year later to work under Tyler Malek. He was the one to introduce me to Fusion Ink and it truly was my saving grace. Color was so hard for me for so long that I almost gave it up entirely. I was as scared to do my first color realism rose as I was to do my first tattoo but I’m so happy I tried because now, four years later, roses are my absolute favorite.

So thankful to be in this industry doing what I love everyday and to be on this team with artists that have inspired me since the beginning of my journey.
